Tyvek IIIby Marjorie Lee Jin En Dequincy This article is a continuation of the May Tutorial, discussing how an iron or heat gun can be used to manipulate Tyvek into an artistic element. It can distort or even "vaporize" the Tyvek depending on how hot or how long the heat is applied.
On the postcard at right, you can see the cloud and the bird together.
This is the reverse side of the cloud. It can be painted, cut and crumpled.
When painted and cut, it can resemble a rocky place on your next landscape. Marjorie will be back with more information on vaporizing Tyvek in the September featured article. Stay tuned!
